it's been a minute! in the meantime, I was nominated at the 2026 ORCAs for best cryptic crossword (thanks to the cryptic crossweird folks!), and I have a variety cryptic in crosshare's new fundraiser puzzle pack. here's a preview clue from that puzzle:

as for this mini: while I haven't had much time for setting lately, I've done plenty of solving and reflecting on what I like in a cryptic, and I think my tastes have evolved even in the few months since my last mini. no idea if that comes through in these clues, but I find it exciting how even after all this time I still feel like I've barely breached the surface of what this art form has to offer. anyway, glhf :)
